As many parents have already experienced, evaluation of learning disabilities is an expensive endeavor. At the Center we are sensitive to the cost incurred in helping struggling students. As the Center is physician directed we are able to file some of the cost of the evaluation and management with insurance. However, many of the services we provide are done on a cash basis.

At the Center our goal is to understand a student’s difficulty as clearly as possible. As such we appreciate and integrate insights from parents, teachers, and other professional evaluations. We try not to duplicate assessments that have been previously performed. This significantly reduces the cost to the family.

We hope to provide the most cost effective help for students struggling in school. Unfortunately, insurance companies often do not consider neurodevelopmental examinations as a medical procedure and will not file the bill with your managed care provider.

Should your child be diagnosed with a medical condition requiring medication, follow up visits to manage these conditions will be filed with your insurance company.
